Mt Hawthorn

A 1940’s Bungalow in poor condition with a previous 1970’s alterations done to the front part of the home. The property was a rabbit warren of dark rooms and hallways that were all dysfunctional.

Our brief was to remodel the front part of the house, Replacing all the existing windows, adding two extra bedrooms, a laundry and bathroom. At the rear of the home we added a large addition incorporating a new kitchen & butler’s pantry, a spacious living – dining area, new master bedroom and large ensuite. Finally at the back we built a spacious undercover outdoor area and extensive timber decking. The entire roof was replaced with colorband to give a modern contemporary look.

The clients were absolutely thrilled with the finished product. The house was transformed into an attractive modern, functional family home. Making excellent use of abundant natural light and a flowing functional design .Their comments were, we can’t believe how beautiful our old house has become. We can’t wait to bring our new first born baby boy home to grow up here.
